Going to the temple–members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is something that people love but don’t make as much of a commitment to go as they maybe should. Not only do temples provide salvation and exaltation for the dead–but they also do for us.
I can definitely understand why going to the temple may seem like a chore. You have to take time out of your busy schedule and dedicate a couple of hours to going–something you may not have time for. This is how I was able to commit myself to the temple and go much more often.
My friend told me how she was going to try to do 1,000 ordinances before she turned 30. I felt inspired to do it as well; that means I need to do 250 ordinances every year to hit my goal. I also started to research my ancestors and find out more about them. I have tried to add more of their biographies because they are real people, and they are family! We will reunite with them someday and who better to do their work than family?
Let me know in the comments how often you go to the temple!
